Today, Monday, April 16, the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia will receive a $25,000 check from The Development Workshop to support projects at five schools across the city. The presentation will be made at Richard R. Wright School, which is receiving a portion of the funds to purchase school uniforms.

The Development Workshop is a trade association of more than 40 members of the region’s development community dedicated to fostering economic growth and increasing prosperity in the Philadelphia region. Members include some of the most prominent architects, public planners and development officials in the city.

Other schools receiving funds include: Joseph Catharine School; John B. Kelly School; Francis Scott Key School; and James R. Lowell School. The Development Workshop identified projects needing funding through the Fund’s online giving platform, Philly FUNDamentals.
